Could Andy Carroll be playing in the Turkish Super Lig next season?

According to Fanatik, the Hammers are keen to cash in on the England international, believing his best days are behind him.

His horrendous luck with injuries has struck again, with the striker set for a three-month spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury in pre-season.

He has just one year left on his contract, but would be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a European club in January and leave on a free at the end of the season.

Former Irons boss Sam Allardyce convinced David Sullivan and Dvaid Gold to fork out a club-record £15 million to sign Carroll from Liverpool in the summer of 2013.

However, he has never managed a consistent run in the side because of his injury record.

The Hammers have been extremely busy in this summer window, smashing their transfer record twice.

New boss Manuel Pellegrini has brought in seven new players to the London Stadium, including the recent acquisition of Felipe Anderson from Lazio.
