Murray will return to tennis at the Citi Washington Open next week, while Rooney recently signed for Washington-based DC United
Andy Murray could face Kyle Edmund at next week’s Citi Open in Washington as the Scot makes his return to the game.
Murray, who is now ranked world no.838 after a lengthy absence has to get past American Mackenzie McDonald in the first round.
But it seems the three-time grand slam winner was taking it easy ahead of the tournament as former England captain Wayne Rooney, who has recently signed for Washington-based DC United, paid Murray a visit for a game of soccer tennis.
Rooney demonstrated his racket skills before joining in a game of foot tennis, with Jamie Murray also getting in on the action.
