The Gypsy King competes again on August 18 in Belfast
Tyson Fury will face former world title challenger Francesco Pianeta when he returns to the ring for his second comeback fight on August 18.
The bout will take place on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s Windsor Park stadium show in Belfast with the Northern Irishman set to meet Australia’s Luke Jackson.
Pianeta was stopped in the sixth by Wladimir Klitschko when challenging for the legitimate heavyweight title in 2013.
He was also KOd within one round by Ruslan Chagaev when attempting to win the WBA ‘regular’ belt in 2015.
His last three fights have seen the German-Italian lose twice more, to Kevin Johnson and Peter Milas, however he will still undoubtedly be a step up for Fury after his first comeback fight against Sefer Seferi.
Promoter Frank Warren said: “The Seferi fight is history and Pianeta is a far better operator than him. His level of opposition tells you that.
“Tyson had been out of boxing for a long time and Pianeta is a good opponent for what is Tyson’s second fight back after his break.
“Tyson had a short rest after Seferi, but is back in full time camp ready for this challenge in Belfast.
“He needs rounds under his belt before moving on to the next level and this fight will do that and make him work for his win.”
