During the 1970’s, New York was on the verge of lawlessness and Tyson has previously admitted to even robbing his own teachers before dropping out of school.

With education no longer at the forefront of his priority list, the heavy-hitter turned to crime for protection and father figures in his life.

One of the alleged victims of his early crimes claims Tyson stole earrings from her, and it transpires the individual was none other than the mother of U-God, the Wu-Tang Clan rapper.

Lamont Jody Hawkins, better known as U-God, claimed the young brawler took the earrings right from his mother’s ears – saying he even witnessed the theft himself.

Former professional boxer Zab Judah asked Tyson about the allegations of stealing U-God’s earrings on VLAD TV and the 54-year-old did not deny the allegations.

“Well, his name is U-God?” Tyson asked. “Well you tell U-God I got the money to pay him back now.

“So when he sees me, tell him to ask for the money and I’ll give it to him.”

Tyson then said: “If I snatch your mother’s earrings – that means you have more money than me.”
