The pair have finally linked back up with the club following their World Cup participation
Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku have handed Jose Mourinho a boost by returning to training on Monday.
The pair are back late as a result of their countries’ long-lasting participation at the 2018 World Cup.
Lukaku’s Belgium reached the semi-final stage (and therefore played in the third-place play-off) where they were beaten by Pogba’s France.
France then went on to beat Croatia 4-2 in the final and so Paul Pogba returns to Old Trafford as a world champion.
Man United boss Mourinho has expressed his frustrations throughout his team’s pre-season preparations at the fact his side were missing key figures.
They finished pre-season with an underwhelming performance in a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.
However, the duo are now back training for the Red Devils ahead of the new Premier League season.
