Two super-middleweight stars go to battle in Jeddah for the Muhammad Ali Trophy and the WBA crown
After months of delays, George Groves and Callum Smith finally enter the ring on Friday night to decide the World Boxing Super Series.
The two British super-middleweight stars have battled through to the final of the inaugural tournament, with the winner of this bout receiving the Muhammad Ali Trophy, as well as a huge cash prize.
Groves has undergone shoulder surgery on an injury sustained in the semi-final against Chris Eubank Jr, pushing the date of this showdown later than anticipated.
Smith has beaten Erik Skoglund and Nieky Holzken on his way to the final and can maintain his unbeaten tag (24-0) with victory.
When is Groves vs Smith?
The finale to the World Boxing Super Series is set for Friday, September 28.
It will take place at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
