The Belgian ace has once again refused to rule out a switch to the Spanish giants
Eden Hazard has once again dropped a big hint he could leave Chelsea for Real Madrid.
The Belgian ace has refused to rule out a possible switch to the Bernabeu and has yet again spoken of his ‘love’ for Los Blancos.
Hazard’s future at Stamford Bridge is still up in the air – his current contract expires in 2020 and the club are yet to agree an extension with their star man.
New manager Maurizio Sarri managed to convince the 27-year-old to stay in the summer, having made hints he wanted to leave after the World Cup, and he has since insisted he will remain at Chelsea for a least another season.
But it has long been rumoured he could finally make the move in the summer.
And Hazard has now revealed talks over a new Blues deal have STOPPED, fuelling reports he is getting ready to join Real.
In an interview on Monday with RMC Sport, Hazard again hinted at a move to the Spanish capital.
“The new coach [Sarri] thinks football like me, so we’ll see, the family is in London, I’m also going to be 28,” he said.
“I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my it’s a decision I’m going to make, I do not know when, but I’ll take it.
“Me, you know me, I’ve always loved Real, even before [Zinedine] Zidane, we’ll see what happens.
“As I said, I’m already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we’ll see.”
Hazard has been tipped as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu, with Real Madrid paying the price for failing to replace the Portuguese superstar following his move to Juventus.
Chelsea’s talisman started the season in sensational form – with seven goals and eight assists in the Premier League in – but has not scored a goal since October 7.
The Blues are desperate to keep hold of their star man, but Hazard has admitted negotiations over a new deal have ground to a halt.
“There was a bit of talk [about a new contract at Stamford Bridge] but then it stopped, now we’re waiting.”
Chelsea boss Sarri claimed last week that the club are ready to tie Hazard down to a new contract ‘immediately’, and that they are only waiting on the player to agree.
“I want Eden here, of course,” said the Italian, who was appointed in the summer.
“But I want him here if he wants to stay here.
“The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not.
