The heavyweight clash is live on talkSPORT this weekend
Dillian Whyte has declared he will be “faster and more explosive” for his fight with Joseph Parker, live on talkSPORT this Saturday.
The heavyweights collide in a 50/50 clash with most bookmakers and observers are struggling to split the pair.
Both Whyte and Parker have previously lost just once, to Anthony Joshua, and both are currently rebuilding with world titles being their sole aim.
At the final press conference on Thursday, Whyte told talkSPORT: “I’ve trained hard and am ready to go to work now.“
Regarding the bout’s status as a non-title fight the Brixton man declared: “I don’t care, this is another fight for me.
“It’s a big one, I’m just gonna fight on, world title or not. I’ve just gotta keep winning and keep progressing and it will come.“
Whyte was last seen destroying Australia’s Lucas Browne with an emphatic sixth-round knockout in March.
Since then, he claims he has focussed on developing his speed and power even further.
“I just work on being faster and more explosive and more compact,” the 30-year-old explained.
“I always try and put someone away, but if I’ve gotta go the distance then I’ve gotta go the distance.
“I train for 12, I never ever train for anything less.”
Dillian Whyte v Joseph Parker will be live on talkSPORT, July 28.
