Fury Sr has a serious conviction on his record and so cannot get a visa
Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury, has reportedly been denied a visa to travel to America for the Deontay Wilder fight on December 1.
The Mirror claim they have been informed that John has been blocked from entering the country due to his past criminal conviction for gouging a man’s eye out.
Fury Sr was released from prison in 2015 after serving four years of an eleven-year sentence and was out in time to travel to Germany for his son’s famous title win over Wladimir Klitschko.
Tyson Fury had his father (John), uncle (Peter) and cousin (Hughie) by his side when he conquered the Ukrainian on his greatest night, however, he will have none of them with him as he challenges Deontay Wilder at the Staples Center next month.
Peter’s son and Tyson’s cousin – Hughie Fury – remained with Peter after the split.
