Frampton stopped Jackson in the ninth after the Australian’s corner threw in the towel
Luke Jackson has posted the below picture of the injuries he suffered at the hands of Carl Frampton last weekend.
The incredibly brave Australian was stopped by the Northern Irishman at Windsor Park in Belfast on Saturday, after his corner threw in the towel.
Jackson suffered numerous injuries at the hands of his featherweight foe
Frampton brutalised Jackson en-route to the victory, as was evident from the 33-year-old’s social media post a few days later.
“You don’t play boxing,” Jackson declared in a Tweet.
“Two perforated ear drums – left ear in round 3, right ear in round 6 and then the body shot in round 8.
“I wanted to finish the fight but I respect my coach and my team’s decision. I’ll live to fight another day.”
