AJ is back and faces Russian slugger Povetkin, who knocked out David Price in the undercard of the Parker bout in March
Fresh from his win over Joseph Parker back in March, heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is ready to go again.
Despite negotiations with American Deontay Wilder, he’ll instead be facing Russian power-hitter Alexander Povetkin in the familiar surroundings of Wembley Stadium.
When is Joshua vs Potevkin?
The bout will be held on Saturday, September 22.
After two fights at the Principality Stadium, it’s back to England and the comforts of Wembley for AJ.
He’s only fought here once – and it was pretty memorable, as 90,000 fans watched him defeat Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017.
Which TV channel will it be on?
This one will be a pay-per-view event on Sky Box Office.
Exact pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but the Parker fight and the undercard cost £19.95 through either NOW TV or the Box Office.
How do I get tickets?
If you fancy being one of the lucky 90,000 inside Wembley, you don’t have to wait long.
Tickets are not yet on sale but details will be released later this week.
They will purchasable through Matchroom Boxing and ViaGoGo, where you can setup alerts to let you know when tickets go on sale.
