AJ is back and faces Russian slugger Povetkin – and you can listen to exclusive live commentary right here on talkSPORT
Following his points victory over Joseph Parker in March, Britain’s world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is ready to go again.
Despite negotiations with fellow champion Deontay Wilder, AJ will instead next be facing Russian power-hitter Alexander Povetkin in the familiar surroundings of Wembley Stadium.
When is Joshua vs Povetkin?
The bout will be held on Saturday, September 22.
After two fights at the Principality Stadium, it’s back to England and the comforts of Wembley for AJ.
He’s only fought here once – and it was pretty memorable, as 90,000 fans watched him defeat Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017.
