Amir Khan v Kell Brook is the all-British clash boxing fans are dying to see, according to former world heavyweight champion David Haye.
Khan and Brook have a long-standing feud which dates back to their youth, but they have never met in a professional bout.
Khan will take the next step in his quest to have another shot at the world title when he takes on Samuel Vargas in Birmingham on Saturday – LIVE on talkSPORT!
But ahead of that welterweight fight, Brook has called out the Bolton-born star, branding him ‘a little b*tch’ and telling talkSPORT he wants to finally face his rival in the ring before the end of the year.
Brook stepped up to super-welterweight to knock out Sergey Rabchenko back in March, but said he would be willing to go back down a division to make the fight happen.
And, speaking to talkSPORT on Friday, Haye said: “I think it’s a fantastic all-British fight.
“It’s the perfect fight for both fighters and it’s the perfect fight for the British fans.
“They are both past their very best, but they’re also in the same boat.
“They have both won world championships, but they both took the leap up to middleweight and Kell Brook was stopped by Triple-G and Amir Khan was stopped by Canelo Alvarez.
“Their careers are very similar.
“They dislike each other immensely and they’re both brilliant world-class fighters.
“I would love to see this fight.”
