The former world champion is ready to make his next move
Matchroom Boxing stated today (Friday) that Amir Khan’s return to the ring will be announced next week.
The 31-year-old made his comeback after an almost two-year absence with a first-round knockout of Phil Lo Greco in April and will now likely be stepped up ahead of a potential blockbuster with Kell Brook at the end of 2018.

Brook returns against Brandon Cook on July 28 while Eddie Hearn previously informed IFL TV that the likely date and venue for Khan’s return would be September 8 in Birmingham.
The 16,000 capacity Arena Birmingham (formerly the Barclaycard Arena) still has this date unoccupied on their website.
Khan last fought at the venue back in 2008 when he stopped Michael Gomez in the fifth round to defend his Commonwealth lightweight title.
